I love Pretty in Pink. It's such a great teen movie, with all of those outsized emotions and awesome music cues and Molly Ringwald's famous pout. But my favorite part of the movie is the visuals. Especially the costumes. Oh man, if only I could have those awesome thrift-store, new wave, unabashedly girly outfits! Adore.






I'm not sure if the abstract shapes add to or detract from the sketches...meh.

I've been drawing a lot of weird girls lately.

These are some Gothic Lolita girls; I was kind of thinking of making a zine with drawings of them.





And here are a couple of drawings of characters from a story I've been working on.
